The POSoTUS’s FUBAR withdrawal from Afghanistan is a national humiliation.
“Dr. Amin al Haq, the former head of bin Laden’s Black Guard, was captured on video in a large convoy as it traveled through a checkpoint in Nangarhar province. Haq was accompanied by a large convoy of heavily armed Taliban fighters in brand new SUVs. A small crowd flocked to Haq to shake his hand and take selfies with him. The video of al Haq is evidence that Al Qaeda commanders now feel secure enough to appear publicly in a Taliban-controlled Afghanistan,” FDD’s Long War Journal reported.
Fathers of Marines killed in Kabul blast rip Biden: ‘He talked more about his son than my son’…Fox News
Schmitz said their meeting, however, was not pleasant, adding that the president reportedly spoke more about his own deceased son, former Delaware State Attorney General Joseph “Beau” Biden III, than he did Jared.
“Initially, I wasn’t going to meet with him,” Schmitz said. “But then I felt I owed it to my son to at least have some words with him about how I felt – and it didn’t go well.”
Hoover told “Hannity” the reasoning behind his decision not to meet with Biden was manifested at Dover Air Force Base, Del., where the president and first lady were on hand to solemnly greet the caskets of the 13 fallen American heroes over the weekend.
Hoover claimed the president looked down at his watch not once but several times as the caskets were being offloaded:
“That didn’t happen just once. It happened on every single one that came out of that airplane. It happened on every single one of them. They would release the salute, and he would look down at his watch on every last one, all 13, he looked down at his watch,” Hoover said.
The host then asked Schmitz if he saw Biden checking the time throughout the ceremony:
“Yes I did,” he replied. “I leaned into my son’s mother’s ear and I said ‘I swear to God if he checks his watch one more time’ — and that was probably only four times in: I couldn’t look at him anymore after that.”
“Considering the time and why we were there, I found it to be the most disrespectful thing I’d ever seen.”
The New York Times reported on August 17:
Islamist radicals all over the world will get “a much-needed boost” from the Taliban’s victory over the Great Satan, the United States, said Peter Neumann, professor of security studies at King’s College London. “The supporters of Al Qaeda are all celebrating this,” he said. “It’s a victory over America, which is what they hope to achieve — these fighters coming down from the mountains to defeat the United States. A lot of groups will piggyback on this victory in propaganda terms — if the Taliban can do it, you can do it.”
Twelve measly days…that’s all it took for Joe Biden to break a very serious promise to the American people.
It all happened on ABC News – during that disastrous interview Biden gave just after the Afghanistan debacle started unfolding.
Remember when George asked him about all those people falling to their deaths off the airplanes, and Joe got all annoyed and said “that was 4 or 5 days ago…”
Come on, man…
In the below clip, when Biden’s asked about Americans stranded in Afghanistan, he vowed that we would stay as long as it took until all Americans were out.
We left two nights ago, and there is still an unknown number of Americans, Afghans who helped us, left behind.
This man is a monster.
The POSoTUS kept his word to a terror organization but broke his promise to the American people.
Calling the evacuation mission an ‘extraordinary success’ is worse than false. It is shameful…Charles Lipson
The POSoTUS walked to the White House podium on Tuesday and proclaimed the US withdrawal from Afghanistan an ‘extraordinary success’. He relied on the unanimous advice of military leaders and strategic advisers for these wise decisions.
If there were any failures, they were due to Donald Trump. Never in history, he said, had there been such a successful airlift. Of the Americans who wanted to leave, we got out an amazing 90 percent. Surely that’s a success all around, despite the collapse of the Afghan army, which nobody expected.
Of course, as a far-sighted leader, The POSoTUS said he had ordered plans for that, too. Best of all, he said, we accomplished our goal in Afghanistan, which was to prevent al-Qaeda from setting up a base there to strike the US or its allies.
After that resounding success, we no longer needed to keep troops in the country to protect America. If any terrorists reassemble, we have great ‘over-the-horizon’ capabilities to discover them and take them out.
Calling the evacuation mission an ‘extraordinary success’ is worse than false. It is shameful. The POSoTUS is taking credit for a humiliating defeat that leaves thousands of innocents behind. He should be shouldering the blame, as Gen. Dwight Eisenhower did when he drafted a statement to be read if the D-Day landings failed. Fortunately, Ike never had to read that statement. The POSoTUS took the opposite approach. When the evacuation mission in Afghanistan ended in chaos, he simply decided to read the ‘victory statement’. Americans are likely to see it for what it is.
