CRT and political correctness are decimating our country. The United States of America was founded on ideals – and we seem to have forgotten that.
“NO” is a powerful word, but we as a society have for whatever reason have forgotten to say it as well.
We are the last bastion of free speech but even as I type, that G-d given, inherent right is being encroached upon at an alarming rate.
“My parents never thought that I was going to grow up in a world without prejudice, but they also told me, ‘that’s somebody’s else’s problem not yours, you’re going to overcome it, and you are going to be anything you want to be,'” Rice explained.
“And that’s the message that I think we ought to be sending to kids,” she said to some applause from the audience.
“One of the worries that I have, about the way that we’re talking about race, is that it either seems so big that somehow white people now have to feel guilty for everything that happened in the past, I don’t think that’s very productive,” Rice continued.
“Or black people have to feel disempowered by race. I would like black kids to be completely empowered, to know that they are beautiful in their blackness, but in order to do that, I don’t have to make white kids feel bad for being white,” she said to more applause from the audience.
“So somehow, this is a conversation that has gone in the wrong direction,” she concluded.Condoleezza Rice argues eloquently against critical race theory on ‘The View,’ 20 October 2021
The progressive left wants complete control over your children and their education, aka indoctrination. Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson from North Carolina has taken a stand. Look at the filth they, the progressive left have deemed necessary as a part of the curriculum in public schools in North Carolina. Now they are calling for his resignation, unconscionable…
Watch the embedded video above – and you will understand the Lt. Governor’s outrage. Yes, it is filth.
‘There’s no reason anybody anywhere in America should be telling any child about transgenderism, homosexuality, any of that filth,” he is heard saying in the video.
“Yes, I called it filth. And if you don’t like that I called it filth, come see me and I’ll explain it to you.”
Robinson also criticized the controversial Critical Race Theory during his June speech at Asbury Baptist Church in Seagrove. He went on to say education is not a political issue, but rather a spiritual one.
“There is material out there that is pushing these issues and teaching our children about these issues,” he said of alleged sexual content being taught in schools.
However, he said he wasn’t talking about equality when it comes to sexual orientation.
“We are not talking about the fight for equality and if those people want to challenge me on that, that’s fine,” he said.
“What I’m talking about are intimate details and yes, there is material out there that shares intimate details about homosexuality, about sexuality in general, to our students. That has got to stop.”
“If I go into the classroom and I can’t put my opinion aside long enough to go inside the classroom and give impressionable, young minds just the facts without my opinion, I have failed as an educator,” Robinson said during a news conference.‘Yes, I called it filth’ 08 October 2021
Let’s not forget The POSoTUS’ DOJ wanting to deem concerned patients as “domestic terrorists”…For example, the Loudoun County school board has been making the rounds on this note. BUT here’s something that the progressive leftist run media have NOT told you; the WHY and the alleged cover-up.
Did the Loudoun County school board try to hush up a sexual assault and allow the victim’s father to be cast as a sort of domestic terrorist?
The Daily Wire reported last night on this horrifying story from Virginia, in which a father’s angry criticism of the school board went viral, but for all the wrong reasons.
At the heart of Scott Smith’s rage was a grotesque sexual assault on his daughter, facilitated at least in part because of politically correct bathroom access.
On June 22, Scott Smith was arrested at a Loudoun County, Virginia, school board meeting, a meeting that was ultimately deemed an “unlawful assembly” after many attendees vocally opposed a policy on transgender students.
What people did not know is that weeks prior on May 28, Smith says, a boy allegedly wearing a skirt entered a girls’ bathroom at nearby Stone Bridge High School, where he sexually assaulted Smith’s ninth-grade daughter.
Juvenile records are sealed, but Smith’s attorney Elizabeth Lancaster told The Daily Wire that a boy was charged with two counts of forcible sodomy, one count of anal sodomy, and one count of forcible fellatio, related to an incident that day at that school.
That wasn’t the only thing that set Smith off at that meeting. After other parents had spoken out against transgender bathroom access, the superintendent scolded them over their concerns, calling it completely unfounded.Horror: Father accuses Loudoun school board of covering up sexual assault, 12 October 2021
There’s that pesky political correctness, and our children are paying the high cost of pacifying the minute minority.
It’s not just about comedy or expressing oneself…it’s about soft tyranny and the infringement of our 1st Amendment rights by a fringe group of mentally incompetent individuals who feel “triggered” and gave the need for “safe spaces”.
Case in Point:
Last year marked the 40th anniversary of the release of Airplane!, the comedy I wrote and directed with my brother Jerry and our friend Jim Abrahams.
Just before the world shut down, Paramount held a screening at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, followed by a Q&A in which an audience member asked a question we never used to receive: “Could you make Airplane! today?” My response: “Of course, we could. Just without the jokes.”
Although people tell me that they love Airplane! and it seems to be included on just about every Top Five movie-comedy list, there was talk at Paramount of withholding the rerelease over feared backlash for scenes that today would be deemed “insensitive.”
I’m referring to scenes like the one in which two black characters speak entirely in a jive dialect so unintelligible that it has to be subtitled.
I’ve lost count of the number of people who have said to me, “You couldn’t do that scene today.”
But I always wonder, why not? Half the gags in that joke were aimed at white people, given that the translation for “Shit” is “Golly!”—and the whole gag is topped off by the whitest lady on the planet, the actress who played the mom on Leave It to Beaver, translating.David Zucker on the 40th Anniversary of Airplane
“The two pillars of ‘political correctness’ are, a) willful ignorance, and b) a steadfast refusal to face the truth.
Political correctness is by definition dishonest and is, I believe, the most insidious doctrine to plague the Western world since those abominable soul mates communism and fascism with which it has more in common than its dupes seem to realise. It cannot face truth, it rejects what is, simply because what is does not suit what the politically correct thinking ought to be.”George MacDonald Fraser
Here’s the problem with political correctness, courtesy of Life Lessons:
- It forces you to deny reality.
- It’s dishonest.
- It’s fake.
- It silences people and stifles debate.
- It’s anti-free speech.
- It’s anti-truth. It prevents any criticism of:
- Black people or minorities – because that would be “racist”.
- Gays and transgenders – because that would be “homophobic” and/or “transphobic”.
- Muslims – because that would make you a “bigot” and “islamophobic”.
- Women – because that would be “misogynistic” and “sexist”.
Even if that criticism is 100% justified.
“When people say they’re offended, just cause you’re offended, doesn’t mean you’re right. Offense is about feelings, and feelings are personal. Some people are offended by equality. So what?”Ricky Gervais
The SJW political correctness crowd act as if feelings were more important than facts (spoiler alert: they’re not) and the truth shouldn’t be spoken if it might potentially offend someone.
Here’s the problem with that, courtesy of Life Lessons:
- These days: Everyone is offended by everything. We’re living in an age of outrage. If no one is allowed to say anything that could possibly be offensive to another human being – then no one can say anything e.g. some people will get offended if you say “good morning”.
- Just because someone is “offended” by something – that doesn’t mean they’re right, or that other people should have to monitor their language or change the way they speak or walk on eggshells around them.
Most people roar like lions…yet are easily led to slaughter like lambs. A spineless society creates their own demise.
